He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabian Ortiz and Louise Ortiz; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Ortiz, Sharon Gnilka and Michael Ortiz; his grandchildren, Elyse, John, Joseph, Michelle, Jennifer and Michael; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Jack, Gwendolyn, Alyssa, Shaelynn, Karsyn and Tampa; and his siblings, Barbara, Linda, Dolly, Frank, Arlene, Renee, Baby and Marie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
