She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Murphy and Nellie Murphy; and her siblings, John, Philip, Kathleen and Sheila.

She is survived by: her husband Gerrit VanWestrienen; her children, Maureen Parilla (Michael), Tom VanWestrienen (Kris) and Meg Ensalaco (Jim); her grandchildren, Megan (Mike), Tim (Shelby), David, John, Brian, Abby (Tyler), Alex, Kathleen (Anthony) and Colin; and her great grandchild Grace Ellen.
