She was predeceased by: her husband George M. Vlahakis; her parents, Eugene McCartney and Frances McCartney; and her siblings, Margaret Weber (late Edward), Frances Sorfleet (late William), Robert McCartney (Betty), Lucille Kreitling (late Robert) and Thomas McCartney (late Eileen).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael E. and Eugene G. Vlahakis; and her grandchildren, Emily M. and Joshua M. Vlahakis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
