She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Mulcahy; her daughter Kathryn; and her siblings, Edwin Lyons, Patricia Scott and Virginia "Cookie" Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, James (Maria), Sheila Carey (Philip), Thomas (Norah), Maureen, Edwin, Joseph and Margaret Mary Mulcahy; her grandchildren, James Mulcahy (Tifanie), Megan James (Michael), Philip Jr. Carey (Erica), Kevin Carey, Kathleen King (Michael), Erin, Ryan and Conor Mulcahy; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Brendan, Owen and Sean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
