She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin J. Boersma; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Boersma, Harriet Veldman (late Ben), Theodore Boersma (late Grace) and Mildred Hoving (late John).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Wagenaar (Gary), James Boersma (Janice), Barbara Klinckman (Steven), Judith Slager (William III), Ronald Boersma (Paige) and Doreen Summers (Steven); her grandchildren, Kurt (Lauren), Karl (Rachel), Kent Wagenaar, Jason Boersma (Dana), Emily Mejia (John), Samuel Klinckman, William IV, Lindsay Robbert (Eric), Benjamin Slager (Britta), Philip, Raymond, Jacqueline Boersma, Simon (Kadee), Stacy and Seth Summers; her great grandchildren, James, Sophia, Mikayla, Austin, Sawyer, Reid, Aaron, Allison, Grant and Violet; and her sister Lorraine Deckinga (late Art).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
