He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Barbara Ret and Daniel J. McGowan Ret; his siblings, Kathleen Mahoney, Susan Lombard (Rick) and Lynn Doyle; his nephews, Joseph Doyle, Kevin Lombard (Samantha), Robert Doyle (Dana), Daniel Doyle (Katelyn), Michael Lombard (Alex Lee), Timothy Lombard and Patrick Mahoney; his friends, Chet Palumbo, Mary and Mike Tarasiewicz; and his brother-in-law Richard Lombard.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:15 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (9300 167th St, Orland Hills, IL 60487).
