He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie A. Christensen; his siblings, Lois Mae Derkovits (late Gerhart), Doris Derkovits (late Norman), Neale Christensen (Marge), Wesley Christensen (Kathleen) and Wayne Christensen (late Lisbeth); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Harmsen (Christine) and Arthur Harmsen (Barbara).
He is survived by: his children, Beth Cruz (Jerry), John Christensen and Karen Zielinski (Michael); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Cruz (Yvette), Madelyn Cruz (Jacob), Allison Cruz, Robert Christensen, Emma Christensen and Wyatt Zielinski.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
