He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Kijewski; his parents, Chester Sr. Kijewski and Louise Kijewski; and his sisters, Penelope Burokas and Debbie Pickell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Thomas Dempsey (Corrine), Timothy Dempsey, Daniel Kijewski and Matthew Kijewski; his grandchildren, Kiara, Rylan and Cade; and his sister Carol Kent (Darrell).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawn Funeral Home - Orland Park (7732 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Lawn Funeral Home (7732 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
