She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Lucyna) and Ronald Kondrat (Denise); her grandchildren, Lisa Bogard, Brian and Robin Ruzella (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Haley, Xander and Annabelle; her siblings, Stella Mendrala (Kazimierz) and Kazimiera Gutierrez (Joseph); and her brother-in-law Wilhelm Kondrat (Wanda).
The family is requesting donations be made to the Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Merrillville, Indiana, in Bernice's name.
