He is survived by: his wife Lynne Kay; his children, Brian, Craig (Deborah), Brett (Nancy), Tammy Marek, Trisha Boss (Wayne) and David (Torie); his grandchildren, Casey Kowitz (Andrew), Abby Freitag (Alex), Amanda Novacek (Nicolas), Kadee Summers (Simon), Nathan, Justin, Brandon, Daniel Wiegers, Vincent, Joseph Marek, Liz Boomsma (Derek), Brittany Karr (Jeremy), Kylie Rivas (Zim) and Mickey Boss (Colton DeJong); his great grandchildren, Zach, Maddie, Lily, Ivy, Levi and Daisy; his sisters, Barbara Buursma (late John) and Theresa Wiltjer (late Robert); and his sister-in-law Carol Beland (late Dan).
