We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 86, Barbara A. Ruffetti of Orland Park, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles E.; her daughters, Donna McMullin (Joseph) and Sharon Cermak (Peter); her grandchildren, Michael (Mary Fran), Alex (Rachel), Melissa and Josef; her great grandchildren, Michael and Spencer; and her brother Michael J. Zavoda. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM at the Lawn Funeral Home - Orland Park (7732 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 S 104th Ave, Palos Park, IL 60467).
