He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances "Fran" Zambuto; his child Sal Sr. (Pam); his grandchildren, Sal Jr. (Theresa) and Christine Ramirez (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Lily, Logan and Parker; and his siblings, Dominic (Joyce), Charles (late Irene), Lena Grillo (late John), Angeline Rugone (late Tony), Salvatore (late Stella), John (Elvira), Mary Tully (late Francis), Joe Spiri and Sam Spiri.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467).
