He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeanette; his children, Lynne Sparks, Alan Sparks (Lauri), Donna Sparks and Larry Sparks; his granddaughters, Victoria Totsch (Elliot), Julie Boyak (Torrey) and Amy Lynch (John); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Charlie, Aiden and Jack; and his son Albert A. (Mary).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467). An entombment was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
