She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob "Jake" Schuringa; her parents, Samuel Bruggen and Abbie Van Bruggen; and her siblings, Annette Harris (late Preston), Adele Mulder (late Martin), Jack Van Bruggen (Betty) and Charlotte Ipema (late Henry).
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Switalski (Daniel) and Arlene Werner (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Tina Hill, Steven Switalski (Rosy), Paul Switalski (Sarah), David Werner (Julia) and Andrew Werner; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Shannon, Connor, Allison, Zachary Switalski and Samantha Werner.
