He was predeceased by: his parents, Katarzyna Dybas and Jozef Dybas; and his sibling Wladzia. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Stanley T. Dybas (Kristin) and Kristine Dziaba (Waldemar); his grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Kayla and Kara; and his siblings, Helen, Mary, Stasia and Zofia.
