He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph and Mary Pauline; his son Marty; and his in-laws, Carol Graf-Leake and Joe Graf.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, Joe (Jennifer), Dan (Meg), Ken (Erin) and Tim (Jenna); his grandchildren, Sarah, Kate, Grace, Ben, Luke, Micah, Brynne, Leo and Cora; his siblings, Jim (Donna) and Paulette Havlin (James); and his siblings-in-law, Fran Warner, Ron Graf, Judy Larson (Swede), Charlie Graf (Jennifer), Gloria Coughlin (Dan) and Christine Arvans.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maher Funeral Home (17101 71st Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's name (Joseph L. Regan) to Misericordia and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
