With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William J. Stoeber of Orion, Illinois, born in Armstrong, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on September 19, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Stoeber and Rose M. Stoeber (Verbrugge); his wife Shirley M. Mably; and his brother Steve Stoeber. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Stoeber (Tamara), Doug Stoeber and Kurt Stoeber (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Madison, Delaney, Shane, Austin, Samantha, Abbey, David and London; his great grandchild Maddox; and his sister Sue Tow.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Orion United Methodist Church (407 12th Ave, Orion, IL 61273). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
