He is survived by: his wife Georgia L. Heitmann; his children, Cheri Veyette (Guy Mitchell), Todd Veyette and Eric Veyette (Barbara Jorgensen); his grandchildren, Brooke Veyette (Chandler Work), Izabelle Veyette (Jacob Neal), Jerzey Veyette, Ryan Thomas, Jacob Veyette, Aurora and Joshua Veyette; his great grandchild Ophelia Neal; and his siblings, Mary Smith of Crestwood, IL, Rita Broz (Ray) of Oakridge, TN, Denise Barry of Virginia Beach, VA and Weldon "Swede" Veyette (Linda) of Oliver Springs, TN..
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1001 9th St, Orion, IL 61273).
Memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established.
