With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond E Newman of Orion, Illinois, born in Lynn Center, Illinois, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Fred Newman and Jennie Stewart Newman; and his son Keith. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, David (Doris Newman), Joel (Bonnie Newman), Stephen (Lisa Newman), Orion and Ann; his son-in-law Jeff Brotherson of Burlington, IA; and his brother Dwayne Newman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church.
