The memory of Marcia D. Cox of Orion, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester M. Hogren and Esther Sofia Hogren (Sundvall); her spouse Mardis "Marty" Cox; and her sisters, Marilyn Hancock and Marlene Riceman.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Crumley (Michael) and John Cox; her granddaughters, Samantha Hays (Matt) and Alexandria Johnson (Kyle); her brothers, Marvin Hogren (Judy) and Marshall "Howdy" Hogren (Alice); and her nieces, Laura Douglas of Orion and Lisa Stiles of Orion. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1001 9th St, Orion, IL 61273). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
