It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Hassler (Orion, Illinois), born in Good Hope, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. L. Payne and Bessie Payne (Stump); her spouse Buel "Bill" Hassler; and her siblings, May Anderson, Peggy Knight, Mary Payne, Edward, Frederich, Francis and Max.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Judy Hogren (Marvin), Minnie Lee Poma, Jackie Peterson (Tom), Irv Patch (Yvonne), Orion Payne and Larry Payne; and her close friend Martha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Orion, of which she was a member.
