She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Felper and Lois Felper (Stanbro); her spouse Gene Hickey; her brothers, Arthur and Arnold Felper; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Streightiff, Louis Streightiff and James Hickey.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Souhrada (Darrell) of Lime Springs, IA, Patricia Loughe (Donny) of Kewanee, Jean Ann Iams of Kewanee, Kathryn Bollinger of Kewanee and Debbie Leonard (Mike) of Logan, IA; her grandchildren, Michelle Kluesner (Steve), Anthony Souhrada (Jesell), Darrell David Souhrada (Sarah), Haley Langreck (Mike), Craig Brokaw (Lisa), J. J. Brokaw (Holly), Brooke Kelley (Kevin), Annie Thiem (Doug), Alyssa Salzmann (Lance), Tracy SantAmour (Crick), Nicholas Iams (Jill), Cassie Lempke (Levi), Lacey Golden (Kyle), Sarah Greenhagen (Pete), Zachary Bollinger (Zoye), Brandon Bollinger (Daci), Jeremy Leonard, Rodney Leonard and Jesse Auen (Brad); her siblings, Ardelle Felper (Jim) and Amil Felper (Leota); and her siblings-in-law, Mardella Felper, Donna Hickey and Charles Hickey (Tracy). She is also survived by 37 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Paul II Parish (406 W Central Blvd, Kewanee, IL 61443).
Memorials may be made in her name for a memorial to be established.
