She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Ware and Nellie Mae Ware (Mallinson); and her sons, Jack, George and Harold Harmon.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Hitchcock; her children, Thomas Harmon of Amboy, Charles Harmon of Chicago, Zada Bailey (Gary) of Mt. Morris, Cathy Bemus of Oregon, Alice Dukes (Leroy) of Amboy, Dolores White of Ashton and Debbie Weight of Rockford; and her grandchildren, Brian Dukes, Susan Dukes, Jay Vivian, John Vivian, Jennifer Kaecker, Jessica Harmon, Sara Hartweck, Dawn Templeman, Joe Harmon, Jason Harmon, Jesse Bailey and Stephanie Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Zada's name may be made to Pinecrest Terrace at Pinecrest Manor, Mt. Morris.
