It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven G. Bettner of Oregon, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Bettner and Kathleen Bettner Politsch (Peterson). He is survived by: his siblings, James Bettner (Darcie) of Oregon, Lisa Hollaway (Troy) of Georgia and Sharon Schroder (Robert Crabtree) of Oregon; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Seth, Austin, Trenten, Danyelle and Molley.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private graveside services will be held at Daysville Cemetery, Oregon with Pastor John Guthrie of East Oregon Church of God officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Steve's name may be made to Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon or Granny Rose Animal Shelter, Dixon.
