It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil E. Antoine of Oregon, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil E. Antoine to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Antoine and Birdella Antoine (Smythe); his spouse Loba Reinders; his mother-in-law Callista Reinders (McMullen); his son-in-law Robert Smith (Smitty); and his nephew Aaron Antoine.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Ledbetter (Pierre Rosales) of Chattanooga, TN, Diane Smith of Oregon, IL, Scott Antoine (Jodi) of Mt. Morris, Kim Leffelman (Doug) of Island Lake, IL and Barry Antoine of Mt. Morris, IL; and his brother Kenneth Antoine (Joyce) of Ridott, IL.. He is also survived by his 5 children who then blessed him with 15 grandchildren and 29 (plus 2 on the way) great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home - Oregon (110 S 7th St, Oregon, IL 61061). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home (110 S 7th St, Oregon, IL 61061).
A memorial fund has been set up for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.
