She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lindahl and Velva Lindahl (Argraves); her spouse Dean Johnson; and her brother Roland "Junior" Lindhal. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Johnson (Teresa) of Oregon and Christine Ware (Ron) of Mt. Morris; her grandchildren, Sarah Rutlin (Mike), Jessica Hade (Ted), Joseph Cox, Jr., Adam Cox, Aaron Johnson (Lexi) and Abby Johnson (Justin Cotton); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Skye, Cheyenne, Oren, Silas, Brennan, Landon and Jackson; and her great great grandchildren, Elliot and Grayson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Melva's name may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
