Lloyd E. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd E. Smith of Oregon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lloyd is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lloyd's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Smith and Ina Smith; his wife Mary Vancil; his daughter Esther Smith; and his sister Helen Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Danielle Diaz of Oregon and Robert Smith (Deborah) of Denver, NC; and his brother Charles Smith (Brenda) of Galesburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
