He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bruns and Grace Bruns (Rosa); and his son Brian Bruns. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bruns; his son James Bruns (Lisa Cox); his grandchildren, Bailey Gallagher (Matt), Brian (Caitlin) and Beck; and his siblings, Ralph Bruns, Terry Bruns (Lynne), Joe Bruns and Jean Bos (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
