She is survived by: her husband Gary Schnorr of Oregon, IL; her sons, Joe Schweinler (Jennifer) of Dawsonville, GA, Brandon Schweinler of Rosenberg, TX and Corey Schweinler of Seward, IL; her stepsons, Jason Schnorr of West Bend, WI and Matt Schnorr (Cassie) of Oregon, IL; her siblings, Darren Carlson, Maxine Dombrowski of North Lake, IL and Susie Pavone of North Lake, IL; and her grandchildren, Dakota, Dillan and Jenna Schweinler. She is also survived by bird watching and feeding her birds.
A memorial fund is established in Kim's name for the Nachusa Grassland and the Oregon Fire Protection District.
