It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Klinger of Oregon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Klinger and Mary Klinger (Kloc); his son Michael J. Klinger; and his grandson John Rick Wawroski. He is survived by: his wife Barb Klinger of Oregon; his children, William Klinger (Lynn) of Marshfield, WI, Sunny Simeone (Karen Larson) of Lisle, Laurie Gorski (Michael) of Satsuma, FL, Susan Burchfield (Kevin) of McHenry and Jolene Vitello of McHenry; his grandchildren, Nicole Justes, Wayne, Lauren Rose Wall, Christopher Robinson, Bryan Robinson, Robert J. Gorski, Dominic Donato and Angela Donato; his great grandchildren, Ava Jo Wawroski, Lauralei Rose Wall and Miles Wawroski; and his sister Mary Ann Enzweiler (Robert) of Bloomington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon with Rev. Joseph Naill and Rev. Richard Kramer, co-celebrating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's name may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
