With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Gailbreath of Oregon, Illinois, born in Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gailbreath and Leona Gailbreath; his sister Evelyn Smith; his parents-in-law, Doris and Frank Higgins; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Holder and April Luxton.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Ann Gailbreath of Charleston, Katie Ring Gailbreath of Madison and Kirby John Gailbreath (Michelle) of Lost Nation, Iowa.; his fiancée Cindy Klug; his grandchildren, Adrianna of Florence, Landon of Anamosa, Lily of Maquoketa and Dory of Lost Nation, Iowa; his sisters, Kay Toom (Mike) and Patti Guinee (Wayne); his sister-in-law Jeanne Maveus (Chuck); and his friends, Barry Wilken (late Judie), Tom Jefferson (Lou) and Gene Belvel (Susie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or directed to the wishes of the Gailbreath family, in care of Kirby Gailbreath.
