With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Vancko of Oregon, Illinois, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Vancko to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Vancko and Mary Vancko (Delovich); his wife Teresa Vancko (Frazier); his son Josh Vancko (Andrea); his grandsons, Alex and Ethan; his daughter Sacha DeVoe (Mike Roberts); his grandchildren, Taylor, Georgia, James and Reese; his daughter Mandy Muren (Ed); his grandchild Mateo; his siblings, Jerry Vancko and Pamela Sten; and his children, Dante', Boss, Gumby and Santa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Serenity Hospice and Home (1658 IL Route 2 Oregon, IL 61061) who lovingly helped us care for him for 21 days at home before his passing or the Jim Vancko Band Scholarship Fund at Byron High School (696 N. Colfax St. Byron, IL 61010).
