With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen B. Schell of Oregon, Illinois, born in Anderson, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Chaplin and Helen Chaplin; her son Mike Schell; and her son-in-law David Dwyer. She is survived by: her husband Charles Schell of Oregon; her daughters, Debbie Scoles of Freeport, Jackie Hollandsworth (Brad) of Rockford and Mary Dwyer of Leaf River; and her grandchildren, Christopher McCanse, Holly Banghart (Mike), Charles McCanse, Brittany Hollandsworth, Jennifer Hall (Travis), Lukas Dwyer (Meg), Derek Dwyer (Jennifer), Cecil Revels and Ashley Schell. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Guidelines of social distancing and wearing facemasks will be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
