It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Marie Egyed of Oregon, Illinois, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Soukup and Anna Soukup (Milek); her son Joseph Paul (George); and her siblings, James Soukup, Bob Soukup, Richard Soukup and Lillian Machacek.
She is survived by: her husband George M. Egyed; her children, Marjorie Lindenmier (Bill) of Oregon, IL, Barbara Kubat (Tony) of Roscoe, IL., Mary Carr (Larry Bull) of Leaf River, IL., James Egyed (Cathy) of Oregon, IL., Andrew Egyed (Christy) of Oregon, IL., Robert Egyed (Marcy) of Oregon, IL. and Michael Egyed (Tricia) of Oregon, IL.; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Soukup. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established for the Serenity Hospice and Home or the Village of Progress.
