He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Russell Cochran and Ruth Carson Cochran; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his children, Shara Oyler (Mike) of Decatur and Jeff Cochran (Kim) of Christiansburg, VA; his grandchildren, Chloe, Ross Hector and Jude Cochran (Karin Zindars); and his siblings, Russell "Butch" Cochran and Ann Apple. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
