It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen F. Sleeth of Oreana, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter E. Kreutzer and Edna Kreutzer (Schacht); her daughter Debra Sleeth; and her grandsons, Jason Sleeth and Trevor Elsea.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Sleeth (Alice), Gregory Sleeth (Cindy) of Oreana, Kathryn Elsea (Ted) of Oreana and Rebecca Perring (Steve) of Clinton; and her son-in-law Ed Carnahan of Decatur. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Oreana Library or Oasis Day Center.
