He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Eugene Ripley and Yula Ripley (Doetch); his wife Linda L. Botts; and his sisters, Betty Hicks and Frances Opp.
He is survived by: his children, April Renee Propst (Chris) of Argenta, IL, Kevin Eugene Ripley (Tamara) of Argenta, IL, Lynette Fay Ripley of Bend, OR and Sue Ann Ripley of Oreana, IL; his grandchildren, Angela Ritchie, Ryan Propst, Michael Ripley, Bradley Ripley, Laura Ripley and Gage Ripley; and his sisters, Phyllis Tripp of Murphysboro, IL. and Chyrlan Staffey of Murphysboro, IL.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
