He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry John and Leona Burgener (Allman); his spouse Shirley Querrey; his children, David Burgener (Stacy) of Vandalia, IL, Mark Burgener (Robin) of Decatur, IL, James Burgener (Lisa) of Champaign, IL and Diane Wilderman (David) of Oreana, IL; his siblings, Robert Burgener (Ira) of Rockville, MD and Margery Dotson of Decatur; his wife Edna; and also Edna Ping Hawley. He was also cherished by grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
