With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney A. Peterson of Orangeville, Illinois, born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Shawn; his parents, Gale Peterson and Marlys Peterson; and his father-in-law Maurie Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Tami Peterson; his son Joseph Peterson (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Cooper, Kaleb, Bailey and Annabelle; his brothers, Robbie Peterson (Mary), Mark Peterson (Lorie) and Marty-Joe Peterson (Trasie); his sisters-in-law, Kelli Metzler (Mark) and Vicki Busker (Brad); his parents-in-law, Sharon Richardson and DuWayne Gerdes; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Tyler, Josh, Ashley, Courtney and Raylin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Walker Mortuary, Ltd. (321 W Main St, Freeport, IL 61032). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
