We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2022, at the age of 86, James Morton of Orangeville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Irene Morton (Lucas); his son Andrew Morton; his brother Elmer Morton; and his great grandchild Chloe.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Anderson of Orangeville, IL; his children, Marci Morton of Monroe, WI, Sally Schaeffer (Scott) of Mt. Carroll, IL, Rose DeVries (Wendell) of Freeport, IL and Jim Morton (Jodi) of Belleville, WI; his grandchildren, Christopher DeVries (Debi), Aaron Dundee, Sidney DeVries (Brittani), Holly Morton and Shawna Gallagher; and his sister Irene Ryan. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his name.
