He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Lanham and Lois B. Lanham (Lewis); his son Bradley; and his granddaughter Carly. He is survived by: his significant other Robin Nelson; and his children, Morgan, Alexis, Travis, Melissa, Jayson, Jessica and Mary K. (Matthew). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters.
