It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Hughes of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Cumberland, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Eugene and Wanda Delia Kurschner Hughes; his wife Linda Ann Edlemon; his sons, Marc Hughes of Mt. Erie and Tony Hughes of Oquawka, Illinois.; his siblings, Cindy Otto (Michael) of Cameron, IL and Gerald Hughes; his daughter Teresa; and his grandsons, Tim Logel and Billy Plum. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
