He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Cook; and his father-in-law Jimmie Essex. He is survived by: his grandson Tom; his close friend Wanda Essex; his wife Wanda; his daughters, Pam Orwig (Jeff) of Galesburg, Paula Cook of Oquawka and Angie Dunning (Bill) of Taylorsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kenna, Noah, Bryce, Jillian and Lillie; his sister Joan Miller of Oquawka; his mother-in-law Melva Essex of Oquawka; and his close friend Tom Robbins of Oquawka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
