He is survived by: his wife Elaine Kay Tharp of Oquawka, IL; his children, Laurie Short (Randy) of Oquawka, IL, Kenneth Tharp (Mary) of New Boston, IL and Ronald Tharp (Darci) of Kirkwood, IL; his grandchildren, Abby, Randi Lynn, Roxanne, Erica, Mallory and Miranda; his great grandchildren, Bella, Rileigh, Reyna, Renlee, Braylee, Cooper and Hank; and his siblings, Doris Whitesell of Rock Island, IL and Roger Tharp (Linda) of Aledo, IL..
A memorial fund is being established for the Keithsburg Christian Church.
