Joyce A. Newton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2023, at the age of 73, Joyce A. Newton of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Keokuk, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Eugene and Betty McBride (Hedden); and her daughter Joanna Newton. She is survived by: her husband John Newton; her children, Julie Sims (Jeff) of Oquawka, Illinois and Jeff Newton (Resa) of Hillsboro, Iowa; her grandchildren, Alonzo, Citlally Morales, Auset Sims, Jasmine Seitz and Sebastian Newton; and her brother Darrell McBride (Christine) of Farmington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in her memory for the Epilepsy Research Foundation.
