He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Roland and Gwenyth Rue Morrison (Steingraber); his stepfather Tom Morrison; and his brother Bret Thye. He is survived by: his former wife Paula Howe; his sons, Jason Thye (Edith) of League City, TX and James Thye (Candice) of Kingsbury, TX; his grandchildren, Monika, Dominic, Gladys, Daxton and Timberlyn; his siblings, Angela Millizer (Dean) of Avon, IL, Bradley Thye of Madison, TN and Jerry Thye (Leslie) of Guymon, OK.; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Rachel, Janice, Kelsie and Felicia; and his close friend Happy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial be made to Western Illinois Animal Rescue in Monmouth, IL.
