It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Harold Rima of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rima and Macie Meyer Rima; his son Chris Rima; his daughter-in-law Karen Sue Rima; his sister-in-law Joyce Rima; and his brothers, Gene and Neil Rima.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Marie Meyer; his children, Craig Rima of Biggsville, IL, Cathy Anderson (Ed) of Oquawka, IL, Judd Rima (Gary) of Keaau, HI and Julie Hunter of Oquawka, IL; his grandchildren, Shawn Parsons (Amy), Adam Parsons, Megan Adams (Ned), Sara Daniel (Ryan), Amber Wise (Craig), Brandy Anderson (Trey) and Jon Anderson (Desiree); and his great grandchildren, Ellie Parsons, Wyatt Parsons, Alexis Daniel, Elijah Daniel, Jackson Adams and Stephanie Schrock (Grant). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
