Edward L. McVey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward L. McVey of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McVey and Dorothy McVey (Palmer). He is survived by: his children, Bobby McVey of Florida, Russ McVey of California, Rod McVey of Galesburg, Rob Skinner of Stronghurst, Kim Thomas (Mike) of London Mills and Brandy Doan of Oquawka; and his sister Judy Wexell of Arizona. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
