She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edwin and Helen Vernon Mettler (Yaeger); and her son Allen Nickols. She is survived by: her husband Dean Nickols of Oquawka; her daughters, Sherry Lucas (Anthony) of Alabama, Kristina Nickols of Oquawka and Tiffany Johnson (DeAndre) of Monmouth, IL; her son-in-law Billy Lantau of Monmouth; her grandchildren, Jordan Lucas, Joshua Lucas, Tyler Dean Lantau (Ally), Corgan Lantau, Adessa Lantau, Aundreya Johnson, Silas Johnson, Cody Johnson and Makell Johnson; her great grandchildren, Amina Tovar and Ryan Dean Lantau; and her siblings, Rex Mettler (Debbie) of Monmouth and Helen Meyers (Doug) of Abingdon, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the April Nickols Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
