Tony Burnett Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2020, at the age of 81, Tony Burnett of Opdyke, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Burnett and Grace Burnett (Glenn); his wife Judy Louise Burnett (Davis); his grandson Darrell Huston, Jr.; and his brother Glenn Irvin Burnett.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Richard Burnett, Jr. of Opdyke, Diane Renee Huston (Darrell) of Mount Vernon, Debra Ellen Johnson (Carl) of Opdyke and Darla May McClain (Ted) of Opdyke; his grandchildren, Lane, Desiree, Laura, Ambur, Aaron and Danielle; his mother-in-law Betty Davis of Rockford, Illinois; his sister-in-law Nora Ferger (Bob) of Rockford, Illinois; and his cousin Sam Gowler (Donna) of Bonnie, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Tony's honor to Wounded Warriors or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
